I've been surfing blogs the past four or five days. Found one that linked to my favorite author. Followed it to a great interview. Sometimes I think Paulo Coehlo peeks inside my brain.

"I only write once every two years because I allow the book to be written in my mind before I start to type it out. So even now when I’m talking to you, I know something is happening in my head, on a very unconscious level something is developing in my soul."

Don't worry, just because I'm not posting details of my progress, doesn't mean that my unconscious mind isn't working on it.

Though I may have to steal some of Caliann's prose. Her comments so far have been more entertaining than anything I've written. If you don't believe me, click the "your comments" on the very first entry in this blogger. If we're lucky, maybe she'll comment on some of the other entries too! :)

Yesterday while cleaning I found two pages of notes I scribbled months ago. They were names and characters to use in a possible bdsm soap opera at some vague "future date." Some of the names are real, some are meant to be scene/screen names. The characters are separate from the names, as I wouldn't put the two together until later in the process. Interesting to see how my mind has been working on this off and on for quite some time now.

oops. I was wrong. I went to retrieve the notes and see that some of the names do have descriptions next to them. Given that this was a brainstorm done months ago, the odds are slim that they will end up as initially conceived.

  • Willow, switch, bifem, 33, OG
  • Oliver, bottom, gay male, 45, OG
  • Kiowa, MTF, switch, 29
  • Nelson, Dom/Top, male, 42, harem collector
  • Janet, F, sub, bi-curious, 37
  • Lance, CD, het male, sub, 54
  • Regina, FemDomme, het, 40
  • Scarlet, 23, Fem, lez, sub

Then there are just a bunch of names:

Cobra, Sargeant, Sherrel, Shepard, Kitten, Kitty, Dragon, Edward, Seton, Greg, Hope, Spring.

Then other character notes without names:
  • male dom -- harem
  • pro domme, hubby housemaid
  • sub -- escort
  • top couple seeking fem sub to share
  • leather top & slave
  • leather dyke switch
  • boi -- gender questionable
  • rogue dom -- prominent doctor
  • barrel bait
  • SCD
  • master sadist
  • confused sub
  • slut - using doms without them realizing it

I'm sure some of these terms and abbreviations won't mean much to some. To me they are specific types I have encountered in my four years in the lifestyle and some that my friends have laughed with me about. Of course, if this yet-to-be-named-serial goes well and lasts for years, I could eventually use all of these, and several times more.
